Joe and Jay (our owners) strived to capture the essence of
Chicago bars and restaurants right here on Grand Avenue.
Thus, the Wild Onion is a Chicago-styled menu mixed
with a busy, friendly neighborhood buzz.

Chicago draws its name from the Native American
“Chigagou,” meaning “Land of the Wild Onion.”
Thus we have the Wild Onion on Grand Avenue, St. Paul,
capturing the attitude and atmosphere of the
bar-restaurant life of Chicago.
